Questions for Paediatrics

After your contact details and qualifications, you'll answer these 8 role questions:

1. Which areas best describe your recent practice? State the months worked in each.
2. State the age groups, acuity and usual workload you managed. Separate general paediatrics, NICU and PICU responsibility.
3. Rate your experience for each task below.
4. Describe one recent paediatric or neonatal care responsibility. State the date or month, your personal responsibility and supervision. Do not include patient-identifying information.
5. How do you organise escalation, parent communication and handover when a child needs a higher level of care?
6. List relevant neonatal/paediatric training, procedures and recent experience. Identify areas needing supervision.
7. Can you type digital prescriptions with diagnosis and medicines for every patient you treat and forward them to Reception? Which systems have you used?
8. Describe one responsibility you held in clinical audit, quality improvement, infection control or NABH activity.
